1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the RoomPlacer mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RoomPlacer ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age, or that you have obtained verifiable parental consent if you are between 13 and 18 years of age.

By continuing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of the App

RoomPlacer provides an AI-powered furniture visualization service that allows users to upload photographs of rooms and apply virtual furniture placements using artificial intelligence technology ("Service").

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Permitted Uses

  • Visualizing furniture placement in rooms for personal decision-making
  • Virtual staging of properties for real estate purposes
  • Interior design prototyping and client presentations
  • Sharing and saving generated visualizations for personal or professional use

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • You must promptly update your account information if it changes
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You may not share your account credentials with any third party
  • You may not create more than one account per person

We use Supabase to manage user authentication and data storage. By creating an account, you also agree to Supabase's applicable terms of service.

4. AI-Generated Content

RoomPlacer uses Google's Gemini API to generate furniture visualizations. The results produced by the AI are for visual reference only and are subject to the following limitations:

AI-generated results are approximations only. Actual furniture dimensions, proportions, colors, and fit may differ from the visualized result. RoomPlacer does not guarantee that any depicted furniture will match its physical appearance in a real space.

Your Content

When you upload photographs or other content to the App ("User Content"), you grant RoomPlacer a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

  • You retain all ownership rights to your photos and uploaded content
  • We do not sell or share your photos with third parties for advertising
  • Uploaded photos are processed by Google Gemini API to generate visualizations
  • You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit

AI Content Ownership

AI-generated visualizations created through the App are provided for your personal or professional use. You may save, share, and use these images, subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

RoomPlacer offers a freemium model. Free accounts receive 3 AI placement credits upon registration. Additional placements require a paid subscription.

Free Tier

  • 3 free AI designs per account, no credit card required
  • Full access to all app features within credit limits

Starter Subscription

  • Monthly plan: $4.99 per month
  • 10 AI designs per month
  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date

Pro Subscription

  • Monthly plan: $9.99 per month
  • 25 AI designs per month
  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date

Billing & Payments

Payments are processed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you authorize Apple to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Unused designs do not carry over to the next billing period
  • Refunds are governed by Apple App Store refund policies
  • We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, trademarks, logos, and all content created by RoomPlacer (excluding User Content), is owned by RoomPlacer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App
  • You may not use RoomPlacer's name, logo, or branding without prior written permission
  • All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by RoomPlacer

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or abuse the Service
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Share, resell, or sublicense your account or access to the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately for any violation of these prohibited uses.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
  • AI-generated results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose
  • Any defects will be corrected
  • The App is free from viruses or other harmful components

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROOMPLACER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your content
  • Any purchasing decisions made based on AI-generated visualizations
  • Any conduct or content of third parties on the App

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
